(Amendment No. 4) Rules 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10A(4) of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Minister for Transport makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Quota System) (Amendment No. 4) Rules 2022 and come into operation on 19 December 2022.

Amendment of rule 11

2. In rule 11(3) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Quota System) Rules (R 31) (called in these Rules the principal Rules), replace “$32.10” with “$41.73”.

Amendment of rule 18

3. In rule 18(1D) and (5) of the principal Rules, replace “$32.10” with “$41.73”.

Amendment of rule 19

4. In rule 19(1), (1A) and (2) of the principal Rules, replace “$15” with “$20”.

Amendment of rule 20

5. In rule 20 of the principal Rules —

(a)	in paragraph (5), replace “$15” with “$20”; and
(b)	in paragraph (11), replace “$16.05” with “$21.40”.

Amendment of rule 24

6. In rule 24(10) of the principal Rules, replace “$32.10” with “$41.73”.

Amendment of rule 24A

7. In rule 24A of the principal Rules —

(a)	in paragraph (1G), replace “$32.10” with “$41.73”;
(b)	in paragraph (6), replace “$10” with “$20”; and
(c)	in paragraph (14), replace “$16.05” with “$21.40”.

Amendment of rule 24C

8. In rule 24C(6) of the principal Rules, replace “$32.10” with “$41.73”.

Amendment of rule 29

9. In rule 29(1) of the principal Rules, replace “$32.10” with “$41.73”.
