Merchant Shipping
(Non‑Convention Ships) Safety
(Amendment) Regulations 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 100 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Merchant Shipping (Non‑Convention Ships) Safety (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and come into operation on 1 January 2025.
Amendment of Regulation 5 of Chapter IV
2.  In the Merchant Shipping (Non‑Convention Ships) Safety Regulations (Rg 9), in Chapter IV, in Regulation 5 —
(a)in paragraph (1), replace sub‑paragraphs (a) to (f) with —
