Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Savings and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2009 |

Citation and commencement |
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Savings and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2009 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2009. |
Definitions |
2. In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires —

Saving of permits, etc. |
3. Any permit, approval, order or other document issued, granted or made by a former authorised officer under the former Regulations and in relation to Changi Airport or Seletar Airport shall, so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Changi Airport) By-laws 2009 or the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Seletar Airport) By-laws 2009, continue and be deemed to have been issued, granted or made under the corresponding provisions of those By-laws. |
Pending applications, etc. |
Fees |
5. Where any fee which has been imposed under the former Regulations remains unpaid on 1st July 2009, such fee shall remain payable as if —

Signs and directions |
6. Every sign, signal or light erected, and every direction or instruction given, by a former authorised officer under the former Regulations and in relation to Changi Airport or Seletar Airport shall continue and be deemed to be erected or given, as the case may be, under the corresponding provisions of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Changi Airport) By-laws 2009 or the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Seletar Airport) By-laws 2009, as the case may be. |
Duty Apron Controller and Duty Tower Controller |
7. Any person who, immediately before 1st July 2009, is either a Duty Apron Controller or a Duty Tower Controller appointed under the former Regulations shall continue to hold such office as if he were appointed to such office under the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Changi Airport) By-laws 2009 or the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Seletar Airport) By-laws 2009, as the case may be, and his appointment shall expire on the date it would have expired if those By-laws are not enacted. |
