(Exemption) (No. 18)
Notification 2014
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 18) Notification 2014.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Tampines Changkat Community Club Youth Executive Committee (referred to in this Notification as “the organiser”) from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Tampines Changkat YEC Mahjong Competition” promotion to be held from 26th February 2014 to 16th March 2014 (both dates inclusive) and the mahjong games to be held on 16th March 2014 from 1 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. at the multi‑purpose hall of Tampines Changkat Community Club.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
