Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 3) Notification 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 3) Notification 2007.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Singapore Turf Club from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Hong Kong Jockey Club Lucky Draw” promotion to be held on 25th March 2007, 31st March 2007 and 4th April 2007 and the draws on 25th March 2007, 31st March 2007 and 5th April 2007.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Turf Club with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 8th March 2007.
