Notification 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 13) Notification 2015.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Lucky Fortune Spin” promotion (called the first promotion) to be held from 6 March 2015 to 19 April 2015 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the lottery called the “Lucky Fortune Spin Kiosk Game” to be held as part of the first promotion where —

(i)	tickets are issued at all Sands Rewards Club kiosks within the premises of the casino of the Marina Bay Sands from 8.21 p.m. each day between 8 March 2015 and 15 April 2015 (both dates inclusive) to before 8.20 p.m. the following day; and
(ii)	draws are conducted daily at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 8.30 p.m. from 9 March 2015 to 16 April 2015 (both dates inclusive);

(c)

the “Lucky Fortune Spin Finale Draw” promotion (called the second promotion) to be held from 17 April 2015 to 19 April 2015 (both dates inclusive); and

(d)

the lottery called the “Lucky Fortune Spin Finale Draw” to be held as part of the second promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands where draws are conducted as follows:

(i)	5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 17 April 2015 and 18 April 2015, respectively;
(ii)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 19 April 2015.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
