(Exemption) (No. 19)
Notification 2014
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 19) Notification 2014.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “Secrets of the Qin Dynasty” promotion to be held from 10th March 2014 to 30th March 2014 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)the following draws to be held as part of the “Secrets of the Qin Dynasty” promotion at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) at Marina Bay Sands:
(i)5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 14th March 2014 and 15th March 2014, respectively;
(ii)5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 16th March 2014;
(iii)5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 21st March 2014 and 22nd March 2014, respectively;
(iv)5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 23rd March 2014;
(v)5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 28th March 2014 and 29th March 2014, respectively;
(vi)5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 30th March 2014.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
