(Exemption) (No. 20)
Notification 2018
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1.  This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 20) Notification 2018.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister exempts Kampong Ubi Community Centre Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee (called in this Notification the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “Kampong Ubi Seniors Friendly Mahjong Competition 2018” promotion to be held from 17 April 2018 to 10 June 2018 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)the mahjong games to be held at the multi‑purpose hall of Kampong Ubi Community Centre from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on 10 June 2018.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
