In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 26) Notification 2016.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Golden Goals” promotion (called the first promotion) to be held from 18 May 2016 to 10 July 2016 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the lottery called the “Golden Goals Kiosk Game” to be held as part of the first promotion where —

(i)	promotional slips are issued at all Sands Rewards Club kiosks within the premises of the casino of Marina Bay Sands daily starting 8.51 p.m. on 29 May 2016 to 8.50 p.m. on 9 July 2016; and
(ii)	draws are conducted daily at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. from 30 May 2016 to 9 July 2016 (both dates inclusive);

(c)

the “Golden Goals Finale Draw” promotion (called the second promotion) to be held on 10 July 2016;

(d)

the “Instant Win to Spin” kiosk game to be held as part of the second promotion at all Sands Rewards Club kiosks within the premises of the casino of Marina Bay Sands from 3.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. on 10 July 2016; and

(e)

the “Golden Goals Finale Cash Draw” to be held as part of the second promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on 10 July 2016.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
