(Chapter 49)
Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 13) Notification 2008
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 13) Notification 2008 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 20th May 2008.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Ikano Pte Ltd from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Donation Draw to Adopt an Elephant from the Singapore Zoo” promotion from 20th May 2008 to 29th June 2008 (both dates inclusive) and the draw on 30th June 2008.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Ikano Pte Ltd with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 20th May 2008.
