Common Gaming Houses Act
(Chapter 49)
Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 6) Notification 2003
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.    This Order may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 6) Notification 2003 and shall come into operation on 5th June 2003.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts from the provisions of the Act the National Trades Union Congress and all persons approved by the National Trades Union Congress to participate in the project known as Singapore Contact Bowl in respect of draws held in connection with that project.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the National Trades Union Congress and the persons referred to in sub-paragraph (1) with the conditions of exemption stated in the letter to the National Trades Union Congress from the Ministry of Home Affairs dated 31st May 2003.
