Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) Notification 2004
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) Notification 2004.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Singapore Press Holdings from the provisions of the Act in respect of The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund promotion to be held from 16th December 2003 to 3rd February 2004 (both dates inclusive) and the draw on 3rd February 2004.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Singapore Press Holdings with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 31st December 2003.
