(Exemption) (No. 24)
Notification 2018
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 24) Notification 2018.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister exempts the society registered under the Societies Act (Cap. 311) known as Women’s International Tennis (Singapore) (UEN T17SS0028B) (called in this Notification the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “WITS 2018 Spring Luncheon including prize draw for charity” (called in this Notification the event) to be held from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. on 23 May 2018 at Hotel Jen, 1A Cuscaden Road, Singapore 249716; and
(b)the draw for the lottery to be held at 1.30 p.m. on 23 May 2018 at the venue of the event.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
