(Exemption) (No. 24)
Notification 2012
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 24) Notification 2012.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Dream Draw” promotion to be held from 12th July 2012 to 9th August 2012 (both dates inclusive) and comprising the following draws to be held as part of the promotion at the Casino Royale Bar at Resorts World at Sentosa:
(a)the “Daily Draws” to be held daily from 12th July 2012 to 7th August 2012 (both dates inclusive) at 9.30 p.m.; and
(b)the “Dream Draw Finale” lucky draw to be held on 9th August 2012 at 11 p.m.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
