(Exemption) (No. 3)
Notification 2017
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 3) Notification 2017.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister exempts the Singapore Turf Club from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “Chinese New Year Prosperity Lucky Draw” promotion to be held from 11 a.m. on 29 January 2017 to 5 p.m. on 30 January 2017; and
(b)the draw to be held as part of that promotion at 10 a.m. on 1 February 2017 at the Auditorium (Grandstand Level 2) at the Singapore Racecourse.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Turf Club with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
