(Exemption) (No. 27)
Notification 2013
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 27) Notification 2013.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Scratch and Win” promotion to be held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 18th June 2013 and 29th August 2013 (both dates inclusive) (referred to in this sub-paragraph as the relevant days) and comprising the following lotteries to be held at Resorts World at Sentosa:
(a)the “Instant Win” to be held, as part of the “Scratch and Win” promotion, during the relevant days at the Casino’s main gaming area; and
(b)the “Lucky Draw” to be held, as part of the “Scratch and Win” promotion, at 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. during the relevant days at the Casino Royale Bar.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
