Notification 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 32) Notification 2012.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Sands Lucky Club” promotion to be held from 17th August 2012 to 20th October 2013 (both dates inclusive) and the lucky draw to be held daily at or about 12 noon at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) of Marina Bay Sands during the following periods:

(a)	from 17th August 2012 to 19th August 2012 (both dates inclusive);
(b)	from 21st September 2012 to 23rd September 2012 (both dates inclusive);
(c)	from 19th October 2012 to 21st October 2012 (both dates inclusive);
(d)	from 18th January 2013 to 20th January 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(e)	from 15th February 2013 to 17th February 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(f)	from 22nd March 2013 to 24th March 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(g)	from 19th April 2013 to 21st April 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(h)	from 17th May 2013 to 19th May 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(i)	from 21st June 2013 to 23rd June 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(j)	from 19th July 2013 to 21st July 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(k)	from 16th August 2013 to 18th August 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(l)	from 20th September 2013 to 22nd September 2013 (both dates inclusive); and
(m)	from 18th October 2013 to 20th October 2013 (both dates inclusive).

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
