(Exemption) (No. 43)
Notification 2014
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 43) Notification 2014.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)“The Magical Genie Draw” promotion to be held from 11th June 2014 to 3rd August 2014 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)the following draws to be held at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) at Marina Bay Sands as part of “The Magical Genie Draw” promotion:
(i)5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 4th July 2014 and 5th July 2014, respectively;
(ii)5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 6th July 2014;
(iii)5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 18th July 2014 and 19th July 2014, respectively;
(iv)5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 20th July 2014;
(v)5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 1st August 2014 and 2nd August 2014, respectively;
(vi)5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 3rd August 2014.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
