Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 29) Notification 2010
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 29) Notification 2010.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Turf Club from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Be a Winner, Visit Singapore Racecourse” Monthly Lucky Draw promotion to be held —
(a)from 1st September 2010 to 30th September 2010 (both dates inclusive);
(b)from 1st October 2010 to 21st October 2010 (both dates inclusive); and
(c)from 1st November 2010 to 30th November 2010 (both dates inclusive),
and the draws to be held at the Marketing & Facilities Meeting Room of Singapore Racecourse at 3 p.m. on 8th October 2010, 12th November 2010 and 10th December 2010, respectively.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Turf Club with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 29th July 2010.
