(Exemption) (No. 8)
Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 8) Notification 2014.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Fill Your Pot of Gold Finale” promotion to be held from 28th January 2014 to 15th February 2014 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the following draws to be held as part of the “Fill Your Pot of Gold Finale” promotion at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) at Marina Bay Sands:

(i)	3 sessions hourly from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on 14th February 2014 and 15th February 2014, respectively;
(ii)	3 sessions hourly from 10 p.m. to 12 midnight on 14th February 2014 and 15th February 2014, respectively.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
