Common Gaming Houses (Singapore Turf Club — Exemption) Notification 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Singapore Turf Club — Exemption) Notification 1997 and shall come into operation on 7th November 1997.

Exemption

2. The Singapore Turf Club and its members and officers are hereby exempted from the provisions of the Act in respect of the public lotteries known as —

(a)	Unlimited Sweep Draw; and
(b)	Four Digit Numbers Game Draw,

conducted under the control or supervision of the Club at such premises as may be approved by the Minister.

Cancellation

3. The Common Gaming Houses (Bukit Turf Club — Exemption) Notification (N 6) is cancelled.
