(Exemption) (No. 35)
Notification 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 35) Notification 2018.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Sands Race Championship 2018” promotion to be held from 13 August 2018 to 30 September 2018 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the lottery called the “Daily Kiosk Game” to be held as part of that promotion where —

(i)	promotional slips are issued at all Sands Rewards Club kiosks within the premises of the casino at Marina Bay Sands from 7.01 p.m. on 5 September 2018 to 7 p.m. on 29 September 2018; and
(ii)	draws are conducted daily at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 7.30 p.m. daily from 6 September 2018 to 29 September 2018 (both dates inclusive); and

(c)

the “Finale Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 10 p.m. on 30 September 2018.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
