Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 45) Notification 2017.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Golden Draw and Super Hot Seat Draw (Within Golden Tiger Slot Tournament)” promotion to be held from 1 October 2017 to 12 November 2017 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the “Super Hot Seat Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) Zone 2 at Marina Bay Sands between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. daily during the following periods:

(i)	2 November 2017 to 5 November 2017 (both dates inclusive);
(ii)	9 November 2017 to 12 November 2017 (both dates inclusive); and

(c)

the “Golden Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) Zone 2 at Marina Bay Sands at 9.30 p.m. daily during the following periods:

(i)	2 November 2017 to 5 November 2017 (both dates inclusive);
(ii)	9 November 2017 to 12 November 2017 (both dates inclusive).

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
