Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 38) Notification 2008
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 38) Notification 2008.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Pasir Ris Community Club Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee from the provisions of the Act in respect of the Pasir Ris Elias Active Mind Mahjong Games Competition to be held on 23rd November 2008.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Pasir Ris Community Club Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 17th November 2008.
