(Exemption) (No. 49)
Notification 2017
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 49) Notification 2017.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “Splash of Cash 2017” promotion to be held from 20 October 2017 to 26 November 2017 (both dates inclusive);
(b)the “Daily Lucky Draws” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands —
(i)at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. daily from 30 October 2017 to 25 November 2017 (both dates inclusive); and
(ii)at 5 p.m. on 26 November 2017; and
(c)the “Finale Draws” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands in 3 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 26 November 2017.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
