(Exemption) (No. 43)
Notification 2013
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 43) Notification 2013.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Kampong Chai Chee Community Club Active Ageing Committee (referred to in this Notification as “the organiser”) from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Kampong Chai Chee Active Agers’ Mahjong Competition 2013” promotion to be held from 20th September 2013 to 17th November 2013 (both dates inclusive) and the mahjong games to be held on 17th November 2013 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at the multi-purpose hall of Kampong Chai Chee Community Club.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
