Notification 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 41) Notification 2011.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Holiday Shopping Promotion” to be held from 16th November 2011 to 25th December 2011 (both dates inclusive) and comprising the following draws:

(a)	the “Kiosk Game” to be held daily from 16th November 2011 to 22nd December 2011 (both dates inclusive) between 6 a.m. and 10.25 p.m., at designated marketing kiosks within the premises of Marina Bay Sands;
(b)	the “Weekly Draw” to be held on 26th November 2011, 3rd December 2011 and 10th December 2011 between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. and on 27th November 2011, 4th December 2011 and 11th December 2011 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., at the Big Game Booth located at B2 level of the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands;
(c)	the “$20,000 Mega Draw” to be held on 27th November 2011, 4th December 2011 and 11th December 2011 between 1 p.m. and 8.55 p.m., at the Big Game Booth located at B2 level of the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands; and
(d)	the “Finale Draw” to be held daily from 23rd December 2011 to 25th December 2011 (both dates inclusive) between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m., at the Finale stage located at B2 level of the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
