Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 14) Notification 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No.14) Notification 2004.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Cancer Society from the provisions of the Act in respect of the Cancer Charity Show to be held from 19th September 2004 to 18th October 2004 (both dates inclusive) and the draws on 3rd October 2004 and 23rd October 2004.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Cancer Society with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 12th October 2004.
