(Exemption) (No. 46)
Notification 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 46) Notification 2011.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Power Swipe — New Year Edition” promotion to be held from 31st December 2011 to 1st January 2012 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)	the “Kiosk Game” to be held as part of the “Power Swipe — New Year Edition” promotion from 10 p.m. on 31st December 2011 to 5.59 a.m. on 1st January 2012 at designated marketing kiosks within the premises of Marina Bay Sands.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
