(Exemption) (No. 49)
Notification 2018
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 49) Notification 2018.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister exempts Queenstown Community Centre Active Ageing Committee (called in this Notification the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “Social Mahjong Friendly Competition 2018” promotion to be held from 1 December 2018 to 16 December 2018 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)the mahjong games to be held at the multi‑purpose hall of Leng Kee Community Club from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on 16 December 2018.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
