Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 17) Notification 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 17) Notification 2004.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Heart Foundation from the provisions of the Act in respect of The Affairs of The Heart 2004 Charity Show to be held from 1st December 2004 to 11th January 2005 (both dates inclusive) and the draw on 19th January 2005.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Heart Foundation with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 29th December 2004.
