(Exemption) (No. 51)
Notification 2018
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 51) Notification 2018.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “Paiza New Year Lucky Draw” promotion to be held from 19 December 2018 to 1 January 2019 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)the lottery to be held as part of that promotion where —
(i)promotional slips are issued at all Sands Rewards Club kiosks located at Paiza Atriums 2 and 3 within the casino premises at Marina Bay Sands from 6 p.m. on 31 December 2018 to 1.25 a.m. on 1 January 2019; and
(ii)the draw is conducted at Paiza Atrium 2 at Marina Bay Sands at 1.30 a.m. on 1 January 2019.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
