(Exemption) (No. 17)
Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 17) Notification 2014.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Crack the Safe” promotion to be held from 21st February 2014 to 11th May 2014 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the following draws to be held as part of the “Crack the Safe” promotion at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) at Marina Bay Sands:

(i)	5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 25th April 2014 and 26th April 2014, respectively;
(ii)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 27th April 2014;
(iii)	5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 9th May 2014 and 10th May 2014, respectively;
(iv)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 11th May 2014.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
