(Ministerial Responsibility) Notification 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 30 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification is the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) Notification 2020 and is deemed to have come into operation on 27 July 2020.
Ministerial designations and responsibilities
2.—(1)  The Prime Minister directs that the Ministers in the Cabinet and the Ministers of State named in the first column of the First Schedule —
(a)are to have the designations specified immediately below their names; and
(b)are charged with the responsibility for the departments and subjects specified in the corresponding row in the second column of the First Schedule.
(2)  The Prime Minister retains in the Prime Minister’s charge the departments and subjects in the Second Schedule, except those departments or subjects that a person is charged with the responsibility for under sub‑paragraph (1).
(3)  This paragraph is subject to any provision of the Constitution or of any Act of Parliament that —
(a)expressly requires a function, power or duty to be exercised or performed by the Prime Minister or by a Minister charged with the responsibility for a specified subject; or
(b)expressly permits a function, power or duty to be exercised or performed by 2 or more specified Ministers or by any Minister.
Cancellation
3.  The Notifications mentioned in the Eighteenth Schedule are cancelled.
