Criminal Procedure Code
(Prescribed Forms) (Revocation)
Regulations 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 428(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Minister for Law makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Forms) (Revocation) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 17 September 2018.

Revocation

2. The Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Forms) Regulations 2010 (G.N. No. S 811/2010) are revoked.

Saving and transitional provision

3. Despite regulation 2, Forms 44 to 49 of the Schedule to the Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Forms) Regulations 2010 —

(a)	continue to apply to an accused in relation to an offence to be tried in the High Court, if the accused was charged with that offence before 17 September 2018; and
(b)	may be used, with such modifications as the circumstances of a particular case may require, for the purposes mentioned in those Forms.
