(Prescribed Offences for
Mandatory Treatment Orders)
Regulations 2018
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 428 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Minister for Law makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Offences for Mandatory Treatment Orders) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 14 November 2018.
Prescribed offences for section 337(2)(c) of Code
2.  For the purposes of section 337(2)(c) of the Code, the following are prescribed offences:
(a)an offence under section 14A(2) of the Miscellaneous Offences (Public Order and Nuisance) Act (Cap. 184) read with section 14A(3)(b) of that Act;
(b)an offence under section 117, 281, 295, 317, 379A, 380, 381, 428, 494 (as in force before 1 January 2020) or 496 (as in force before 1 January 2020) of the Penal Code (Cap. 224);

(c)an offence under section 304A of the Penal Code committed by doing a rash act;
(d)an offence under section 312 of the Penal Code, where the woman’s pregnancy is of more than 16 weeks’ duration as mentioned in that section;

(e)an offence under section 6A(b) or 6C of the Women’s Charter (Cap. 353).
