Co-operative Societies Act
(Chapter 62)
Co-operative Societies (Composition of Offences) Rules 2008
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 95 and 100F of the Co-operative Societies Act, the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Co-operative Societies (Composition of Offences) Rules 2008 and shall come into operation on 15th December 2008.
Compoundable offences
2.  Any offence under —
(a)section 16A(9), 16B(2), 35(9), 99(2) or 100(1)(a), (c) or (e) of the Act;

(b)section 100(1)(f) read with section 34(1) of the Act;
[S 350/2009 wef 01/08/2009]
(c)section 100(1)(g) read with section 72(2) of the Act; or
[S 350/2009 wef 01/08/2009]
(d)rule 6(2) of the Co-operative Societies Rules 2009 (G.N. No. S 349/2009),
[S 350/2009 wef 01/08/2009]
may be compounded by the Registrar in accordance with section 100F of the Act.
