Children and Young Persons Act
(Chapter 38)
Remand Home
It is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 51(1) of the Children and Young Persons Act, the Minister for Community Development has appointed the Singapore Boys’ Home, 931 Jurong Road, to be a remand home for the purposes of the Act, with effect from 7th February 1999.
2.  Item 2 of the Children and Young Persons (Remand Homes) (Consolidation) Notification (N 5) is cancelled.
