Companies (Advertisement on Internet) Notification 2000

It is hereby notified for general information that the Registrar of Companies and Businesses may make an order of exemption under section 46(1) of the Companies Act in respect of any advertisement posted on the Internet offering or calling attention to an offer or intended offer of shares in or debentures of a corporation or proposed corporation to the public for subscription or purchase, from the requirements of section 45 of the Act and the Fifth Schedule to the Act.

2. An exemption order shall be made if the conditions specified in the Schedule are fulfilled

3. For the avoidance of doubt, it is declared that nothing in this Notification shall limit or diminish any civil liability that any person may incur under any rule of law or provision of the Act.
