Diplomatic and Consular Relations (ICPO-INTERPOL) Order 2012 |

Citation and commencement |
1. This Order may be cited as the Diplomatic and Consular Relations (ICPO-INTERPOL) Order 2012 and shall come into operation on 3rd September 2012. |

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires ––

Additional immunities and privileges of ICPO-INTERPOL |
3. The ICPO-INTERPOL shall, in addition to its immunities and privileges under the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) (ICPO-INTERPOL) Order 2012 (G.N. No. S 432/2012), enjoy the following immunities and privileges:

4. In addition to his immunities and privileges under the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) (ICPO-INTERPOL) Order 2012 (G.N. No. S 432/2012), each of the following persons shall, in the exercise of his functions and the accomplishment of his mission, while in Singapore and also (where applicable) during journeys made to or from the meeting-place, enjoy inviolability of all his official papers and documents:

5. In addition to his immunities and privileges under the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) (ICPO-INTERPOL) Order 2012 (G.N. No. S 432/2012), each of the following persons shall enjoy the like immunities and privileges as are accorded under articles 29 to 33, 35, 36(2) and 39 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations to a diplomatic agent:

6. In addition to his immunities and privileges under the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) (ICPO-INTERPOL) Order 2012 (G.N. No. S 432/2012), every member of the staff of the Complex other than the Secretary General or a director of the Complex, who is duly accredited to the Government, shall be exempted from customs duty when importing furniture and personal effects within 6 months after first taking up his post in Singapore. |

8.—(1) Notwithstanding anything in this Order, no immunity or privilege referred to in paragraph 4, 5 or 6 shall be enjoyed by any person who is a citizen or permanent resident of Singapore.
