Notification 2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 56 of the Deposit Insurance and Policy Owners’ Protection Schemes Act 2011, the Senior Minister, Prime Minister’s Office, hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Deposit Insurance and Policy Owners’ Protection Schemes (Designation of Deposit Insurance and Policy Owners’ Protection Fund Agency) Notification 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st May 2011.
Designation of deposit insurance and policy owners’ protection fund agency
2.  Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation Limited, a company incorporated in Singapore, is designated as the deposit insurance and policy owners’ protection fund agency for the purposes of the Act.
