Exchanges (Demutualisation and Merger) (Designated Companies) Notification 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Exchanges (Demutualisation and Merger) Act 1999, the Deputy Prime Minister, BG (NS) Lee Hsien Loong, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Exchanges (Demutualisation and Merger) (Designated Companies) Notification 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st December 1999.

Designation of companies

2. For the purposes of section 3(2) of the Act —

(a)	the transferee holding company shall be Singapore Exchange Limited; and
(b)	the special purpose company shall be SEL Holdings Pte Ltd.
