(Modification of Licences)
Regulations 2019
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 111(1) of the Environmental Public Health Act, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Environmental Public Health (Modification of Licences) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on 10 June 2019.
Prescribed period to make written representations
2.  For the purposes of section 99(12B)(b) of the Act, the period of time after the date of service of notice on a licensee within which the licensee may make written representations with respect to a proposed modification of any condition of the licensee’s licence, is 14 days.
Meaning of “licence”
3.  In these Regulations, “licence” includes any approval, permit, permission, authority, authorisation or licence which may be granted or renewed under the Act, but does not include a cleaning business licence granted or renewed under Part IXA of the Act.
