| Citation |
| 1. This Order may be cited as the Factories (Examination and Test of Pressure Vessels) (Exemption) Order. |
| Steam boilers |
| 2. Steam boilers with a maximum permissible working pressure not exceeding 0.5 bar are exempted from section 36(8) to (15) of the Act. |
| Steam receiver |
| 3. Where the safe working pressure of a steam receiver does not exceed 0.5 bar or the product of its safe working pressure and volume does not exceed 100 bar-litre, it shall be exempted from section 37(4) to (8) of the Act. |
| Air receiver |
| 4. Where the safe working pressure of an air receiver does not exceed 0.5 bar or the product of its safe working pressure and volume does not exceed 100 bar-litre, it shall be exempted from section 39(4) to (8) of the Act. |
| Refrigerating plant pressure receiver |
| 5. Where the safe working pressure of a refrigerating plant pressure receiver does not exceed 0.5 bar or the product of its safe working pressure and volume does not exceed 100 bar-litre, it shall be exempted from section 40 of the Act. |
