Factories (Applications for Registration of Factories) (Modification) Rules

Citation

1. These Rules may be cited as the Factories (Applications for Registration of Factories) (Modification) Rules.

Modification

2. An application for the registration of a factory to which section 9(2A) of the Act applies shall comply with all the requirements in section 9(2) of the Act except that it —

(a)	may be made not less than 14 days before the operation of the factory; and
(b)	need not be accompanied by the layout plan of the factory unless the Chief Inspector so requires.
