Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Fire Safety (Specification of Premises Requiring Fire Safety Managers) Notification.

Premises requiring fire safety managers

2. The Minister specifies that a public building that is issued with a certificate of statutory completion or a temporary occupation permit under section 20 of the Building Control Act [Cap. 29], and —

(a)	is of 9 storeys or more (including any basement) in height; or
(b)	is used, constructed or adapted to be used as a hospital,

to be premises in respect of which the owner or occupier is required to appoint a fire safety manager.
