PRELIMINARY
Citation
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Fire Safety (Dangerous Trades or Purposes) Regulations.

Definitions
3.  In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires —
“accepted Code of Practice” means any code of practice, standard, guide or manual relating to fire safety which is acceptable to the Commissioner;
“cellulose solution” means any solution having as a basis any nitrate of cellulose (including pyroxylin) and for its other ingredients any flammable or volatile solvent;
“certificate of statutory completion” means a certificate of statutory completion issued under section 20 of the Building Control Act [Cap. 29];
“Code of Practice for Fire Precautions in Buildings” means the current Code of Practice for Fire Precautions in Buildings published by the Fire Safety Bureau, Singapore Civil Defence Force and includes all amendments made from time to time to the Code;
“dangerous trade or purpose” means such dangerous trade or purpose specified in the First Schedule to the Act;
“licensed premises” means any premises which has been issued with a licence under section 31(1) of the Act;
“licensee” means a person who holds a licence issued by the Commissioner under section 31(1) of the Act;
“temporary occupation permit” means a temporary occupation permit issued under section 21 of the Building Control Act.
