Housing and Development (Approving Authority) Rules 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 27(1) of the Housing and Development Act, the Housing and Development Board, with the approval of the Minister for National Development, hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Housing and Development (Approving Authority) Rules 2004 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st December 2004.

Approving authority

2. For the purposes of section 24(2) of the Act, the approving authority shall be the Tenders Board C of the Ministry of National Development, comprising —

(a)	the Minister for National Development, who shall be the Chairman;
(b)	the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of National Development; and
(c)	one Senior Officer of the Ministry of National Development.
