Interpretation
(Temporary Suspension of
Electronic Road Pricing System Charges)
Order 2012
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 46(2) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:
Citation
1.  This Order may be cited as the Interpretation (Temporary Suspension of Electronic Road Pricing System Charges) Order 2012.
Temporary suspension of charges
2.—(1)  For the period 19th September 2012 to 22nd September 2012 (both dates inclusive), the road-user charges payable under the First Schedule to the Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) Rules 2011 (G.N. No. S 97/2011) (referred to as the principal Rules) in respect of any motor vehicle ridden, driven or moved into a specified entry point on a specified road set out in Part I of the Schedule shall be wholly remitted during the restricted hours as specified in the second column thereof.
(2)  For the period 19th September 2012 to 21st September 2012 (both dates inclusive), the road-user charges payable under the First Schedule to the principal Rules in respect of any motor vehicle ridden, driven or moved into a specified entry point on a specified road set out in Part II of the Schedule shall be wholly remitted during the restricted hours as specified in the second column thereof.
(3)  For the period 19th September 2012 to 22nd September 2012 (both dates inclusive) and on 24th September 2012, the road-user charges payable under the First Schedule to the principal Rules in respect of any motor vehicle ridden, driven or moved into a specified entry point on a specified road set out in Part III of the Schedule shall be wholly remitted during the restricted hours as specified in the second column thereof.
(4)  On 20th September 2012 and 21st September 2012, the road-user charges payable under the First Schedule to the principal Rules in respect of any motor vehicle ridden, driven or moved into a specified entry point on a specified road set out in Part IV of the Schedule shall be wholly remitted during the restricted hours as specified in the second column thereof.
(5)  For the period 20th September 2012 to 22nd September 2012 (both dates inclusive), the road-user charges payable under the First Schedule to the principal Rules in respect of any motor vehicle ridden, driven or moved into a specified entry point on a specified road set out in Part V of the Schedule shall be wholly remitted during the restricted hours as specified in the second column thereof.
