Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Finance) (No. 3) Notification 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Finance, with the approval of the President, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Finance) (No. 3) Notification 2005 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2005.

Delegation of powers

2. The Minister for Finance hereby deputes the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, to exercise the powers of the Minister under section 4 of the Development Fund Act (Cap. 80) for the purposes set out in paragraph 7 of the Schedule to that Act in respect of any capital injection which does not exceed $10 million from the Development Fund into any statutory corporation, and to determine the terms and conditions for such capital injections.
